Dear ATD Long Island Members,
I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the new President of ATD Long Island! It’s an honor to take
on this role, and I’m genuinely excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for us.
First, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our past President, Janet Wise. Janet’s exceptional
leadership and dedication have set a strong foundation for our organization moving forward. We
are all especially grateful for her vision to create an environment where talent development
professionals, at every level, can flourish. Thank you, Janet, for your incredible service!
As we move forward together, ATD LI’s incredible Leadership Board and I want to focus on
three key goals that we believe will drive our success:
1. Growing Membership: Expanding our membership is crucial for us to strengthen our
network and amplify our impact. We are committed to working with all of you to reach
out to new and experienced talent development professionals and welcome them into our
vibrant community.
2. Enhancing Learning Experiences: Providing valuable and engaging learning
opportunities is at the heart of what we do. We are excited to explore new ways to deliver
top-notch experiences that meet your professional needs and help you and your
organization grow.
3. Building Community: Our membership community is the backbone of our organization.
Each of you brings unique experiences, perspectives, and skills to the ATD LI table,
creating a rich tapestry of knowledge and support. We are dedicated to fostering this
supportive, collaborative environment where we can all connect, share ideas, and support
one another’s growth.
Together, I believe we can achieve great things. Your involvement and enthusiasm are what
make our association truly special, and I’m eager to work with each of you to make the most of
our collective potential.
